SECRET TO COVERING HYPERPIGMENTATION WITH MAKEUP REVEALED.
Many experts have confessed that spots on the face are one of the biggest concerns for women, speaking of skin issues. The fear that the skin looks natural and uneven tone can affect the quality of life and even alter the self-esteem of those who suffer from it, although we know that it is not bad! The most common occurrence of hyperpigmentation is pigment spots. These accumulate especially in old age, but how do you develop, fight and prevent them?
There can be many reasons for dark spots: lack of sleep, poor circulation, allergies, hyperpigmentation, and simply having fragile skin under your eyes. What's more: the eye area is the deepest part of the face, which makes it the most prone to having shadows naturally, and this causes the dark circles to be even more noticeable.
If you find yourself in this situation, let us tell you that you are not alone, hyperpigmentation can be hard to cover. The first step is to go to a dermatologist to help in the process of depigmenting the face. And of course, as far as the routine facial works, you can support yourself with some tricks to make up the spots so that they are noticed as little as possible.
HOW TO MAKE UP HYPERPIGMENTATION SO THEY ARE NOT SEEN?
Step One: Have a Flawless Skincare Routine
As we already mentioned, it is infallible to go to a dermatologist who will make a skin diagnosis and indicate how to combat root spots. Of course, the steps that you must include in your daily rituals are cleaning, toning, hydration, and sun protection. Each of them is essential so that the skin is kept in good condition, and thus, we avoid more pigmentation or its appearance.
Second step: Prepare and even the skin
When your face is clean, apply a primer to smooth the surface and apply a light base coat (choose one with high coverage, waterproof and long-lasting). We suggest you use it in gentle strokes with a moistened facial sponge for a natural result. Be careful; you don't have to do this daily, only when covering the stains completely.
Third step: Make up each color of spots
Here you will need a color corrector wheel, a flat brush, and a sponge to make up each shade of stain:
If your spots are red, put a green corrector and vice versa.
If your spots are brown, apply a turquoise concealer.
If your spots are yellowish, put a purple concealer and vice versa.
If your spots are orange, say yes to the blue concealer.
Red is great for canceling out dark hyperpigmentation or post-acne hyperpigmentation if you're in the tan to a profound extent.
Fourth Step: Touch up the details and seal the makeup.
Are the stains still showing a little? Apply a concealer in your skin's natural tone over the areas, fading with the sponge's touches. After that, set everything in place with a translucent loose powder and a makeup fixer. The process highlighted can be used to apply the concealer with makeup;
You can apply the concealer under or over the makeup, but it's preferable to use it beneath so that the concealer's tone is more neutralized when the rest of the makeup is done.
You have to put a few drops or a few dabs of concealer on the lower part of the eye, on the dark circles.
After having the concealer prepared on the lower contour of the eye, let's move on to the most crucial part: how to spread it. To distribute the concealer evenly, make little touches all over the portion of the eyecup until it is entirely covered (never run your finger constantly through the eyecup, as this would remove the concealer and lose its function: to protect the eyecup).
Once the concealer is applied to the dark circles, we will blend the ends of the paste with a finger towards the cheekbones so that the cut between the skin tone and the corrector tone is not noticeable, leaving all the homogenized face tone.
Once you have applied the concealer, you can apply makeup, but be careful not to remove the concealer when using makeup. The most effective way to apply makeup without removing the concealer is to apply it by tapping with a sponge; in this way, the concealer has not been removed, and the makeup is more covering.
If one day you wake up with a lot of dark circles and you see that the concealer that you have applied under your makeup is not enough, you can place a little on top of the makeup and then blur towards the outer part of the concealer the cheekbones.
